D1 has problems rear propshaft, steering rods and seems with chassis frame in rear part.
Awesome video guys ! Look forward to seeing more. With your D1 change from a 300 series with the rubber doughnut to a 200 (earlier one) that doesn't have it. I had an issue with the chassis seams coming apart from rock impacts, I actually welded 3mm plate steel to the bottom of the chassis as a kind of 'skid'
There are a number of heavy duty steering arms available on a well known auction site. When I did mine I used defender ones and relocated the steering damper to the defender set up.
Seeing guys in chest waders stumbling about in fairly deep water always makes me cringe. Young lad locally drowned when he was fishing on his own, slipped and fell in wearing them. They filled up with water and the poor lad drowned.Jarrod

D1 had problems with frame may be due big stones in Sura river. I'm selected other way and river crossing was not easy, but without problems.
Anyway, this expedition gives us MANY impressions and experience. Not all goals were achieved, but we are very happy

How do you mean 'selected other way' ? I take my hat off to you guys, the expedition looked to be very challenging and I would love to do something similar in my life.
I've seen people freak out when stuck in mud up the local hills. Imagine how they would be in such a remote area as that !Jarrod

I mean that river can be crossed in different ways (not always of course). In parallel to hard way of D1 after some checking i found other possibility without so big stones
I hope, that we will return to Kola someday There are so many beautiful and hardly achievable places
