Exceptional Customer Care and support from Landrover
I see many posts complaining about poor service from dealers and lack of support from Landrover but my recent experience is the polar opposite, maybe when good service is given not enough people post the good news.
My 2016 D4 developed a fault only when towing our twin axle caravan. The diagnostics pinpointed a air leak at the air intake to the throttle body. A new throttle body was fitted but did not cure the issue as the joint separated on the test drive. Similarly after fitting adjoining components and pipe work to the throttle body the joint failed on each test drive (towing caravan).
During the time my vehicle was off road I was given a Range Rover Velar which they changed for a D5 HSE when I mentioned I was not able to use my caravan as the Velar did not have a tow pack.
Landrover recommended the dealer replace the mounting brackets to the air intake and conduct an extended towing road test with a data logger connected. The test run 220 miles was done today with a technician on board, this took five hours and proved the turbo boost was not the issue as live readings were within specification. I even took a call from Landrover during the road test to check all was going ok.
So no complaints from me, the replacement bracket has secured the joint, very satisfied with Landrover and the dealer (Dick Lovett (Bath)), however our Springer Spaniel is missing the massage seats of the Velar.......

I must admit that Duckworths (both the Boston and Market Rasen branches) have been excellent over the years, but it’s a pity that we have to travel so far when the six or so dealerships that are MUCH nearer are all appalling.

Dealer in Melksham is registered as Dick Lovett (Bath)
They have also purchased the land on the opposite side of the road and will be moving their BMW (Bath) facility to Melksham. The decision to introduce a "congestion" charge in Bath has influenced the decision to move to Melksham.
If you have been waiting 6 weeks for a call back I would go somewhere else.
