EVO Corse DakarZero 8.5x18"cw BFG Mud-Terrain KM3 265/60

Hello All

I have recently purchased a Disco 4 Landmark 2016 to replace my old Disco 3 HSE 2004.

I am not a big fan of the landmark wheels so the first thing I would like to change are the rims. I plan to go with EVO Corse DakarZero 8.5x18"

Are any of you on here running these wheels? All good? Any photos?

If you are can you advise what tyres are you running them with. I wanted to fit BFG Mud-Terrain KM3 265/60. Are any of you guys running these?

The supplier of the rims suggested 265/60 R18 BFG All-Terrain KO2 tyres which is probably a more sensible option in truth. I just really like the look of the M/T's.

Please share thoughts on this to help me make a decision.

PS: If anyone interested in a 100% mint set of Landmark rims they will be available soon!

Cheers all.

Rich

Couple of folk in THIS thread run them - DiscoEd seems to be the most recent to fit them?
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Many thanks, any pictures greatly appreciated. Think I am now leaning towards the A/T K02 so any pics would be much appreciated. Rich

I have friends that run BFG MT tyres on various vehicles from Defender to D4 and the oft heard comment is "my god, I've ruined it!". Unless you absolutely need a mud tyre, it's basically pointless. If you need a mud tyre, why bother with something nice and expensive like a D4? Why not just get something like a Jimny to tool around in axle deep gloop?

MTs are niche tyres.

KO2 is probably a better tyre for someone needing off road ability with reasonable road manners.

Grabber AT3 or Pirelli AT+ are better if you want decent road manners with ok off road ability.

And if you just drive on tarmac, get a decent road tyre.
