I have deleted all faults after the reset to start with a clean slate. Unless I can get it to give me faults again, it seems to me that LR would have trouble doing a diagnostic. What do they do exactly in this case?
Do LR have good and clever diagnostics able to figure things out from a clean slate or do I need to keep driving until it shows errors again?
thanks

So here is another nit. No faults yet but when I drive with the IID Tool plugged in it displays the voltage (14.7) but every now and again it jumps to 15v for a hile then back to 14.7. Normal?

14.7 is about right on mine as well

LR garage would not find no fault on ECUs or reported by ECUs after you cleared them

if it drives well forger it it is LR and it happens due to complexity of those vehicles

if you really want to know what took place once car is reporting similar faults only way to go is can bus data collection and looking at every controller in detail or at least ones which show valuse out of the typical range

I spoke to GAP and sent them the latest set of faults. They told me it is a wiring issue on the High Speed CAN bus but this does not exactly narrow things down much. Two questions:

I have a duff brake pad wear sensor on the front which I have removed and isolated - could this be an issue?
Are there any obvious places to look for a CAN bus wiring problem? The car is in mint condition (42 k)and always garaged so things like water and rough roads are unlikely to be the root cause. ANY ideas?

Wiring diagram.... try and find any similarities between the circuits. It may be a plug at a junction box etc .

Sunroof / water leaks and the CJB?

I thought there was an potential wiring loom / connector issue at the back of the battery on the D3s (not sure if its the same as the D4s). Would be worth doing a search on here.
