European whistle stop tour

I am going to take my caravan around Europe in August and would like some suggestions from you lot in the know. My route is planned and booked but wondered if some of you well traveled chaps could suggest unmissable attractions on the way. I wanted to have just a fleeting visit to give a flavour of the areas with the intention of going back in subsequent years to the most loved places for longer.
My route will be :-

France
Bourges
Millau (Viaduct + Roquefort caves)
Puyloubier (Provence)
Italy
Liguria
Pisa
Bologna
Austria
Pettnau
Germany
Neckargemund
Luxemburg
Kautenbach
Belgium
Brugge

If you are aware of any good places to visit or restaurants, markets etc etc etc. would love to hear about them.
Cheers in advance

Any trip to Brugge should include a visit to Ypes especially given the anniversary this year of the start of the First World War.

SDV6 Auto obviously, Loire blue/Ebony, ugly kid glass, RLD wheel protector, private plate and maybe side steps.

My 17 yr old son has just returned from there and said it was the most graphic display of the costs of war anyone could ever see. My Mum also said it's a must if nearby. Best put it on the list. Thumbs Up

Don't forget the Menin gate is closed every evening at 8 when the last post is played, a really moving experience.

Having lived in Germany for more than 15 years in total since the late sixties I must say that your choice of Neckargemund puzzles me Confused I know it's a 'whistle-stop' tour but I can think of more interesting places to visit as you travel through the country...........or you're going there for something more specific. Anyway, enjoy yourself and have a good trip Thumbs Up

Went there as a child with my parents on a camping trip (45yrs ago) and wanted to visit Heidelberg again. Any other thoughts of the locality would be helpful.
I am finding loads to do from the web but first hand stuff is always better.
Cheers

Heidelberg. Ich liebe Heidelberg. A sunny, warm day. Outside table, nice clean tablecloth. Friendly, prompt service. Jagerschnitzel mit pommes and a cold pils in a spotless glass. Mmmm Thumbs Up Mind you you'll get that all over Germany. Watching the world go by. Can't beat it. 8)

Very Happy Thumbs Up
Just had a week in Port De Pollensa in Mallorca and was really taken with the markets surrounded by cafe's where people meet their friends and families. The buzz was deafening, never heard so much laughter without a comic on stage. I sat for hours just watching the world go by. I'm sure it's just the sun but everyone was so cheerful.
Romford just can't come close unfortunately. Big Cry
I intend to have a people watch with beer in hand everywhere I can. Thumbs Up
