euro 4 engine into euro 2 car

hi all new to this site so hello all

my engine is a goner and been offered a engine out off a 2007 2.7 car but mine is a 2006 2.7 the 2007 is a euro 4 engine were as think mine is a euro 2 can i just fit the euro 4 engine i been offered the complete engine or will there be issues the egrs as this is only difference i can see

Have a google, but I think you will find main differences are injection equipemnt, ie injectors and high pressure pump, I dont know about the egrs.
But as people have fitted the later 3.0 into the 2.7 using all their own 2.7 accessories I cant see why a later 2.7 wont fit your car.

thanks tried to google it but carnt find an answer my egrs were blanked off when i got the car so was just going to blank off on other engine as well and use all my exsisting wiring

Can’t see why not, injectors slightly different to cope with slightly higher fuel pressure, but will
not make any difference if you are fitting the whole unit, watch out for the inferior oil pump bracket.
