eSure
Anyone got any experience of eSure or Landrover insurance ? My renewal is due soon and eSure is coming in at around £530 and seems to tick all the boxes except they prefer to use their own repair centres. I'm currently insured with Jaguar Car Insurance which uses approved dealers only and was cheaper than my existing insurer at the time. The same underwriters cover the Jaguar and LR scheme so I was just thinking of switching to LR so that if I'm unfortunate enough to have a prang, its fixed at a LR approved centre using the real McCoy parts etc. Question is anther it's worth the £200 additional premium. My D4 is 8 months old.2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

Since my first Disco in 2003 I've always stuck with LR Insurance (RSA underwriter) as although it is slightly more expensive than others, it offers great peace of mind, especially if you use the motor as intended. When I had a real 'off-road' prang on a hillside forest, they didn't bat an eyelid and the repair was quickly dealt with by an LR approved repairer and I had a replacement motor for the duration. They covered me fully comp for a 2 week overland expo in Morocco last year too. I live inside the M25 and last premium paid just over £700 fully comp PNC for me and the wife 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I have been with E Sure for the last 10 years or more and i try and beat there quote every year and cannot get near them with anybody.
But this year renewal came through tried to beat em and i did with E sure Beat by £20 and more cover, Esure beat Esure,
And the only reason i retried esure with a new quote was held on hold on the phone so I did it on line with a new quote and they must have give me some sort of new customer discount
Will be trying this ploy again on next years renewal MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎

new LR policies are now underwritten by Zenith Insurance PLC
got both D3 and D4 with them. however, if I swap to NFU i'll be saving £200 a year in premiums/finance.
But as DG says, they cover offroad without question and all done using genuine LR parts.Duncan

Just been on to LR Insurance and they quoted £759 vs. £645 with Jaguar Insurance. Seems a bit excessive given that they are the same broker and underwiters. eSure is £520ish for the same cover but anyone can be cheap until it comes to paying out
I think I may stick with Jaguar Insurance and trust to either not having a prang or that Zenith don't try to build a b rdised Tata special out of LR and Jag parts !! I accept that I won't have the off road cover but don't plan on getting it dirty until it's second birthday anyway.2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT
