ESF got a sound like a dump valve too UPDATE FIXED!!!!!!!!!!
FOR MY FIX GO TO PAGE 2 BOTTOM **************************
It’s done it a few times now, replaced large cooler pipe, small pipe, checked the the s bend pipe and all new t bolt clamps. New turbo fitted January actuator is moving freely with full movement

Not too sure about the noise but P132B tends to be turbo related. If the actuator arm is free moving then as you say then you can rule that out. On my D3 a few years ago that code meant replacement turbo, the problem was with the actuator itself even though arm was very free moving. My limp mode and ESF tended to be when towing although I could avoid it happening by dropping gears early on hills using command shift.
Could be an iffy actuator i supose even on a new turbo. New turbo or reconditioned?Stu

Reconditioned turbo but highly recommended place near me called best turbos in Dudley I called them today and them the faults they said bring it in and they will put in and run tests on the unitMetal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)

Mine appeared to operate perfectly too but turbo was still at fault, however I only had P132B, you also have P0234 overboost. The turbo actuator is controlled by the PCM which takes it's boost readings from the MAP sensor so maybe that could be at fault?Stu

Took her over to the turbo place and they spent ages running different diagnostics on the turbo then test drive, came back saying turbo and actuator seem fine but came provoke the fault. So I said give me 30 minutes, I took her on the motorway thrashed her up a slight incline boom engine system fault. Turned round drove back the him he plugs in and says over boosting but that can mean a number of things. Older guy from back of the shop comes for a look takes engine cover off the sprays leak detector all over the engine getting guy to blip the accelerator bubbles and spitting appears around one EGR blank
I haven’t tried re sealing it yet as I’m going to refit the EGR pipes once I’ve had them welded off hopefully a result but will let ppl know more when I’ve doneMetal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)

Update
So I’ve still got same issue now I’m looking at new seals for the throttle body and inlet manifolds as I made up a way of pressuring the system with a tyre inflater and a old inner tube and I’ve got a small leak that sounds like it’s coming from the lhs inlet manifold but because of the amount of stuff covering it I can’t spray and see with leak detector
