Error Code P2264-00

I have been having a long term intermittent fault on my D4 and its driving me nuts. During the self diagnostic test at start up sometimes I get a "Restricted Performance" warning come up along with the amber warning triangle. I don't notice any restriction in performance and more often than not, the next time I start the car it's gone. My local Landy specialist has not been able to pin down the issue, so I bought myself an IID tool and I have found the following fault code "P2264-00 (2F) water in the fuel sensor circuit". The handbook tells me that if the water trap on the filter was full I would get a "Water In Fuel See Handbook" message appear in the message centre. I'm not getting that so I'm assuming the water is in the sensor circuit somewhere else. Anyone got any idea on a good place to start looking? Would the P2264 error code result in the restricted performance warning coming up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Mines in the dealer, apparently its only a sensor that has failed.

Thought it may be of interest, but this is what the fuel sensor looks like.

I took mine in for its service/MOT and as it was due a fuel filter change I got them to change the whole thing - 1 week later no restricted performance lights so hopefully that's fixed it. Thumbs Up
