Erm... I think I'm a ghost. |
|
help, am I really here?
I've sent 2 pm's and even put YHPM posts on threads, however they don't appear in the thread and I've not had responses to the pm's - nor do they show in my pm box. I use several LR bb forums so should know what I'm doing

You're new - you need to post a few more messages before being able to do these things 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

If YHPM means telling someone that they have a PM, then they get deleted by the mods as it's a bit annoying.....the idea of a private message is that the sending of it, and the contents of it, are between you and the recipient..... 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Just join in on a few threads and get your post count up, PM's will magically start to work.

thanks for the replies, I was begining to feel unwanted
I agree on the yhpm point of view
but how am I supposed to respond to someone's for sale advert without asking stupid questions and cluttering their thread?

For sale adverts are there to allow questions to be asked
If you send a PM the recipient will know you've sent one, we don't all need to know 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Yeh I get that, but the problem was everything I posted said it went ok, but no one replied and posts didn't get posted. the yhpm was to see if they said "no i haven't".
I understand you need some moderation and forums are different but it's not exactly easy.

Hey up Mark
I stuck with the tried & tested as it was too soon to get out of the M3 & couldn't run to D3 without selling that. But I'm not struck with this doublecab and the m3 is wearing off so I've been lurking on here looking at modded D3's such as the red pearl.
I'm still wary of D3's that don't have an LR warranty though
I've thought of a good question so I'll go ask that in the main bit, see if I can get me posts up
