| EPB squeal when put in mounting position on GAP |
|
Hi All, planning on replacing rear disks so thought it best to put epb in mounting position using GAP before jacking up the vehicle, However this made the epb squeal, so I put it back in latch position and the epb is still working OK. Is it best not to bother with putting the epb into “mount” on gap before servicing the brakes ? Or Should I just ignore the squeal and do it before adjusting everything with the new disks etc.

You need to put it in mounting mode, ignore the squeel.
Its hard enough doing the job with it in mounting Andrew
