Hi ya folks
Hope you all had a good new year I have except my epb so we fitted a brand new unit.
We plugged it in and car would not start hazards come on and lots of dash lit up.
Now we plugged it in and its a canbus error.
Do plugging in the old unit car starts and drives no problems.
So do my trusty experts know what the problem is

well a fault with the new epb.
I wonder if the new one requires programming to say manual or auto gearbox

As far as I understand there are two different versions, one for D3 LR019223 and one for D4 LR072318 as they have different CAN bus protocols. Did you install the correct one? Defender 110 SE 2021, Tasman Blue
Discovery 1 V8 ES 1997, Epsom green
Discovery 3 V8 HSE 2006, Bonatti Grey
Range Rover V8 1983, Sierra Silver

if you have a gap iid tool, plug it in.
see if you can find ccf settings with the old and the new etc.
read the fault code with new
