EPB - Orange light just come on....

Just my luck I'm away tomorrow on a training course and last night an orange light came on the dash!

I was in a hurry and flicked the EPB whilst engaging reverse and letting it roll down a hill backwards, guessing something got mixed up!

06 Auto.....any ideas what might be wrong and what my next course of action is?

Thanks

Fingers crossed it reset itself and I had no light on today, however, I have now noticed it (orange brake light) comes on when you switch the ignition on but goes out after a sec once it's done a check, I don't ever remembering this before.

d3 warning lights

hi pete
d3 lecys Confused if the lights all go out after the car does its checks i would be tempted to leave it alone,if it starts coming on when driving have a look in your area or put a post on to see if any members have a faultmate they could plug in and help.

The orange light shows on mine for a few seconds during the check so I think that is normal. This is confirmed by the handbooks which says that it "Illuminates for about 3 seconds as a bulb check when the starter switch is turned to position ’ll’."
