EPB noise

Can the EPB make a "subtle" noise on the move..? I have noticed a sort of whirring noise coming from the back- only noticeable on the move and gone as the car stops. Sounds bit like a fridge! Went to dealer who says it's probably some sort of contact in brakes or epb... No pulling to one side.. Had discs and pads replaced 4 mths ago. EPB does not scream, occasional squeaks a bit when reversing off without disengaging. Could it need adjustment? I'm not overly anxious about it it but it's a bit of a PITA..!

Sure it's not the suspension compressor?

Wouldn't that be continuous? I think it's in the drivetrain as only noticeable when on the move and not dependent on engine speed
