A wee question to those who know........I virtually never use my Electronic Park Brake.
Q. Does it still wear ? Ive done 45000 miles and never had a problem with it, squealing or otherwise.....

In theory, no, the shoes wont wear out
Where you might have problems is come MOT time, as the tester has to check the handbrake works, and if it hasnt been used, the lever on the shoes (that the cable pulls against) seizes up, and may not release fully and cause squeaking/binding problems... My D3 Build Thread

I doubt that level of use will stimulate the component failure involved, if you are lucky enough to have geography and lifestyle which allows non-use of EPB unless enough corrosion / seizure at the wheel/drum end occurs to give it a torque problem in the actuator gearbox when you DO finally use it.
The unit fails when the torque clutch is called into operation and the (essential) resultant vibrations cause a failure in a ( criminally badly designed) spring retaining clip.
If you never use it, you never create the torque problem and never have a failure, but you do run the risk of it seizing up. So what you describe must be the best compromise.

On my D3, the red light comes on sometimes when I go over a speed bump a bit to fast, or get a hard bump offroad. Have to stop and play with the lever a bit until the light goes out. I don't use the EPB often. The older I get, the better I was.

I use my EPB everytime I get out of the car. Had it squeal and then just adjusted it.
Replaced them earlier this year (60k) and adjusted them of course.
Key is that once you get the squeal, don't use it again until it's been adjusted. Bodsys Brake Bible

I guess you're all Auto users.
On my manual if I switch off the ignition the EPB comes on automatically. D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR
