EPB override on MY2008 D3 manual gearbox
I leave my 2007 D3 (manual gearbox) on the drive for a couple of weeks at a time and the park brake shoe stick to the drums, how do I disable the EPB? I have tried the methods in the manual but it always comes on when I pull the key out of the ignition!

Try holding the brake switch down while removing the key. Otherwise you can turn off auto on if you have an IID

If it's going to work with your manual try....
foot on brake
Push down and hold epb switch
remove key from ignition
Its worked with mine since I had it and still works with it (my niece has it now so I still have servicing contract ) 2005 SE Manual

Another option, if you know you are going to park up for a few weeks, is pull the fuse before parking up.

Works on mine too, mines a 2006 model. Maybe something you can’t do from 7A chassis onwards as I think after a quick read that everybody that says it’s works is 06 or earlier?
Pete.IID, webasto software and workshop facility's available.

I've cracked it what I need to do with my 2007 D3 is with the key in the ll position, put foot on the clutch pedal, select 1st gear, press the EPB lever down, whilst holding the clutch pedal and EPB lever down, switch off the ignition and withdraw the key, the EPB doesn't come you can take it out of gear now if you want the EPB remains deactivated
