EPB all fixed...
Not had much call to post here recently but...
My EPB has been playing up for about a year on and off, had it all cleaned and adjusted at the last service in June (main dealer) and it was OK for a while but it failed completely a couple of weeks ago and locked up totally, pulled the emergency release and no way would it re-latch...
I decided to try a local specialist and see how that went, so off it went to MJA LandRover in Bromsgrove, (just round the corner from me). They replaced the EPB module and re built the rear brakes (disks, pads, ebb shoes, fixings, adjusters, etc.) for a total of £1,400 and Warranty Direct are paying £907 for the EPB module and labour so all in all a good result I think...
So a shout out to MJA LandRover, great service, great job and friendly chaps...
