EPB fault & seat belt warning

Evening all.
Yesterday, my manual 07 SE is telling me that the EPB would no longer work on drive away, i had an amber warning light on the dash, no reversing lights and no gear number display on the dash. I ran through the procedure to reset the fault (low box, reverse, then through all the gears from 1-6, then switch off) and it cleared the fault. But hey presto, today the EPB fault is back already. Any Ideas??

Also, while i'm at it, can anyone tell me how i go about removing the very annoying seat belt warning chime, i'm a farmer and the car is mainly used across my land, thus, no need to wear a seatbelt. I asked the main dealer and they said they wouldnt do it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Wasn't there something about this can be caused by poor connections to the brake light bulbs?

you need to recalibrate the gearbox X-Y sensor, into low box, reverse with foot fully of the clutch until the 'R' shows on the IPK, then go through 1-6 waiting until each gear shows on the display, switch off, wait until the 'P' has extinguished on the IPK - sorted

i have already re-calibrated the x-y sensor thing by putting the motor in low box then reverse and through all forward gears, this did clear the fault, but it re appeared again the next day.
