EPB - Electronic Park Brake - Mounting Position

I have just bought new rear discs, pads and shoes. I want to replace these myself.
My understanding is that the Disco EPB needs to be placed in "Mounting Position" and that can be done with a IID Tool.
Can anyone tell me what is the cheapest way to place the car EPB in mounted position and which tool to use.

From the manual
Enter the parking brake into the service mode.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Apply, and hold, the footbrake.
3. Apply, and hold, the parking brake switch to the RELEASE position.
5. Turn the ignition off.
6. Release the footbrake.
7. Release the parking brake switch.

From Bodsys Brake Bible
If you're removing the disks for a full clean, then I'd recommend putting it into service mode and
removing the 30a fuse as per section 8 How to Change Your Brake Disks – Rear of the bible.

Doesn't seem to work for me, does anyone know if it is a different procedure for keyless entry? Engine starts when trying to turn ignition off, so I assume it might be different?

Just replaced the rear brakes on my 05. Tried the procedure above to start with but didn't get any confirmation message and when I went to fit the shoes, found the cable didn't have enough slack in it. Ended up having to dig out my laptop/SDD cable only to find my laptop had finally died. Quick trip out to collect a used laptop and I was back on my way. Had to put it in "Mounting" mode and the shoes went back on fine.

Scarily, half way through the bedding in procedure, I got the dreaded EPB screech and a partial jam. I had followed the proper adjustment procedure. Anyway, jacked up, Mount position and redid the adjustment. Seems to be okay now.
