got the handbrake working today after chaseing wires for 2 days on and off ,there was a corroded joint in the main green/yellow wire behind the compressor ,the wire seems to have been repaired before with a new wire from the compressor area to the actuator and the old wire has been left in the loom leading me up the garden path ,now i have the red handbrake light working as normal but the orange light is still on all the time with the park brake fault still appearing in the middle of the dash ,couldn't have got that far without the wireing diagram ,cheers matty 2332 ,so now i will have to try and clear any faults to see if that works

Result Why dont you sell your spare actuator and use the money to invest in one of BBS's Fault code reader - excellent piece of kit which would clear your epb faults
