EPB can move to mount or back to latch with GAP IID

…but other wise nothing. Just acquired this disco, so getting my head around a few things. When I try to operate the epb from the switch I don’t get any noise just an immediate fault code that I have attached from GAP…

I can use gap to drive the handbrake into mount and back to latch and can hear it moving into mount then back into latch, so before I start thinking about removing the module (yuck) I wondered whether this may just be a case of remounting the shoes check all is ok on the hubs before moving inwards to rusty bolt territory 😭

Nothing wrong with your handbrake, you just need a new hand brake switch!

£25 and 3 mins to fit, happy days. Thumbs Up

Thanks PROFSR G, all sorted, took the switch out and cleaned the contacts, doused it in GT40 and it seems to have done the trick Thumbs Up

Well done!

Now order one anyway and keep it in the glove box along with your spare brake light switch. Whistle Thumbs Up
