Hi John. There is a number...... It's 1741 or 1492 or 1973 or something like that.
Haven't used it for over a year as the later DVD prevents it from working. Check your DVD - If a newer one has been installed then you can't use the function at all. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

From the normal nav screen press the on-screen button on the bottom left. When you get the next screen (two black boxes with text etc) press and hold the screen at the top between the two boxes. Hold it for about 5 seconds and you'll get a keypad pop up. Type in 1791, press ok, then press the return key (top right).
You now have nav on the move..... until you turn the car off. Has to be redone each time you start the car but can be done at any stage, on the move or stationary and even when a route is already set up.
There's a thread with screen pics somewhere.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I don't think you can get the diag screen up whilst moving? I certainly thought the vehicle had to stationary to be able to enter the pin. I stand to be corrected though

Hi Gareth, yup, you can get the diagnostic screen up when on the move and enter things on it. Marvellous really; Oh no, you can't enter a destination on the move, but no such safeguards against entering the diagnostic system while driving.
Not that I'm complaining, happy to have it like that I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
