Engine Warning Light

The orange engine warning light is on all the time. Anyone got any ideas? Is something about to/has gone wrong. The car is running fine otherwise Confused

EGR or Turbo would be my guess, as your still in warranty at least you won't get a hefty bill Thumbs Up

When my EGR was replaced, it didn't show any lights on the dashboard, just said engine fault in display!

Our MY07 XS had the warning light come on just the same a couple of months back, was the EGR v/v's just as SJR said, there was no fault showing on the LCD display.

It came on just before the second service so had them done under warranty at the same time.

Shrinky, I've heard that they can stick open slightly. But I'm no tech!

Yeah, our light came on but it made very little difference if any to the performance of the car. Can not say there was much difference after the new ones were fitted either.
