I think you need to carefully define re-manufactured, and understand from where they source their parts - i believe that LR simply don't make many parts available.
Searh the web, diligently, to find comments about this firm and everyone who has traded from this address - ask trading standards about them. I see that they only have 3 eBay feedbacks, but are offering 27 engines for sale?

There is a place in Fife, or central Scotland offering engine swaps, supply and fit for £3500. Again, no experience of them, only heard about them a few weeks back. Can't remember the name of the garage though.My D3 Build Thread

I looked at a few of these when I had my problems, if they are doing it so cheap what are they not doing? A couple of years ago engines were £2200 as a minimum, now from Mikey's experience you can't even get one from a scrappy with much (if any) change from £3K.
So working on that, and the LR time for removing/replacing the body as being 22 hours, that doesn't include doing anything on the engine, so maybe add another 5 hours for that, thats 27 hours minimum, with at least two people for some of the time, works out around £18 an hour labour?????
On top of that you need anti freeze, oil, filter .............. money left to cover the warranty and a little profit etc etc, how on earth do they do it properly for £3500?
So I personally wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

I have done an engine swap without removing the body. 42 hours..
Body can be off in 2, with the engine out on the floor in another 2.
It took me 20 hours to fit my own engine. This included swapping bits over, brake pipes, rear upper arms, and a few other bits and pieces. It did not include cambelts, or filters etc, they were done before I had started
If they can source an engine for £2500, as I did, and they don't do belts or filters or any extras, then £3500 supply and fit may be doable.
As I have said many times before, there are lots of people willing to take your money, and screw you over. Took me a long time to find an engine from a place I could trust (at a reasonable price)
A recon short block from LR can be bought for less than a 2nd hand engineMy D3 Build Thread
