After a week of my D4 being in bits on the dealer ramps I've finally got it back today. And its sweet as a nut 😁😁😁

They also did the flexi brake pipes, rear brake pads, and brake fluid for £70.

Call from the workshop manager this evening apologising for lack of info but they didnt want to scare me.... which they managed by not telling me enough 😂

Turns out it wasnt the cam belt tensioner bolt but the HPFP tensioner bolt that sheared.
They had to go full body off to get the space to remove it hence why it took a week. No other issues found other than age related surface rust.

Glad it is all fixed Thumbs Up

But that workshop does appear to have a few issues. We do expect a garage/workshop to tell us the truth about repairs/work required but I guess these days that's just wishful thinking Rolling Eyes

Yeh, i would expect more from a main dealer but thats how it seems to be everywhere these days.

the only way i got the response was when i got the email survey through and i put some negative comments on there. In the workshop managers words 'they received a red flag off the back of the survey' so he was responding to that.

im still waiting for the health check video ive been promised 4 times from the initial visit, and also waiting for the follow up report. Ill check with them that they have the correct email written down in the service department before i rant at them.
