Might sound an obvious question but I’ve read somewhere saying 5.7 litres and some saying 6.5??
It doesn’t say in the manual. I’m changing the oil for the first time and looking for a definite answer please?

Get 6.5 Ltrs, then you are covered.

i've always measured my oil in and out for my d3+d4 the 3 has 5.7 ltrs in and usually has 5.5-5.6 comes out with 150000mls on the clock d4 has 5.8lts in with similar use when taken out these are done every 5000mls or 6mths without fail, the last d4 change did about 200mls but still got changed  please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou

5.7 is plenty (and the figure I have seen most places) , particularly if you only drive on the road.
I run mine on 5.2 which is around middle on the dip stick.

I keep mine between normal and upper mark on the dipstick and have have always worked on 5.5lts at changes. Steve
