Engine Managament Light on!

Shocked

The engine managment light has come on my 56 D3 which has covered only 21k!
However I havent noticed any loss of power etc

I Assume there are a number of things that could course this but what are they?
Are there any common ones?

Also the manual says that i should expect loss of performance and that i should contact LR at earliest convenience as opposed to immediately does this mean i can contiune to drive (only short distance) till monday?

You could call LRA and get them to read the code, might save you a trip to the garage.

Some faults are caused by low battery power, if your lucky it could be one of those.

if it does show a code , someone may be able to tell you what it means G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

The lights gone off! Shocked

Think i will take to LR on monday to check and they can sort out a few others niggle bits at same time hopefully!
