Dear masters here,
I live in Taipei, Taiwan, before I got D3 that I spent times here, so I am very happy to own my first Land Rover D3 and be a member here.
My model is 05/06 4.4 and just reach to 1,000 km, but have been facing tech problems that could not be solved so far.
First time on Dec 15 was all the warning signals of braking related system like ABS, HDC, EPB, and yellow P showed up on panel, and the siganl with two wings of air suspension showed up later, so car started to low down to access mold and could not be changed. After I stopped engine and restart, they were all back to normal, but drove for a while, these signals showed up again and this time more signals showed up together, so I went to the LR Taipei, but they could not find out why as the computer check was no problem. However, they did find the battery was loosed, so they assumed this is the problem source.
Yesterday the red P showed up, then suddenly all signals showed up after one and another, so I stopped engine and restarted it, engine fault and limited transmission gear available showed on the message panel and I could only drove it by 3rd speed (3rd gear) no matter start up or high speed. Since I had a meeting in office, so I did not go to LR and after the meeting which was 90 mins later, I started the car drove to LR and only engine fault left. gear box was back to normal.
LR here could not find out the reason again since all the check was normal, but they found out the hi and low gear box has something wrong, but they did not sure, so they want to keep the car for a while for more detail checking.
Is anyone here faced similar or exact situations like me? I am so upset and this is really scary as yesterday occured while I was on high way.

There is a wiring loom connection just behind the gearbox....if this loom is badly fitted it will cause numerous faults to show on the dash

Thanks, I got my D3 back this morning, dealer told me there are wiring connections behind the battery case, one of them is for gear box which was loosed. They hooked it back and run the checking again, everything was fine.
Hopefully this is the last time.
