Provided it has been repaired properly, as normal. Engines are mechanical components and don’t have an emotional connection to each other.

Hello:

I am not invoking the plane of emotions or other spiritual derivatives, the subject is to know about the experience of drivers post-repair in terms of kilometers traveled in relation to the performance of the car.

Regards

(this may appear twice … posted on phone about 30 mins ago but can't see it here !! )

Juan Jose … I think your question is too vague to get the best out of the wise folks on here !

when you say the engine was repaired … was it a full replacement or rebuild your own engine ? who did it ? if a garage, I'd have thought they would advise regarding oil changing, limiting revs for nnn kms etc. etc.

if it was a repair of your own engine, what was replaced ? new parts used or 2nd hand ??

I am referring to the repair of engine failure due to crankshaft breakage.

Without classification by repair process, the idea is to know the experience of drivers after, for example: 5000, 10,000, 20,000 km of use after repair.

You can’t possibly answer that. For instance a poor build will last as little as 5km. Where as a factory recon unit will last 200000km

Plus not many are repaired, most have a new/reconed unit or engine from a scrapped car put in. I don’t know if it’s still the case but parts to repair the engine weren’t available.

Guys, don't be cruel....

Question is
Has anyone had crank repair rather than full engine change...
...and has it stood up to mileage.

What do you mean crank repair? You mean a new one put in? Bottom end rebuild?
