Electronic handbrake fault |
|
Afternooon guys hope everyone is well.
I have an issue that would be great full for advice on, handbrake did I the screatching thing back in June and locked on, after messing with it for an hour and trying to go forward and backwards I came off so I chose to ignore it and just leave the car in park, in between times I have applied it several times and all worked well, 2 days ago it worked, went for MOT today and the handbrake made a different scratching noise and wouldn’t go On at all and a fault came up on the dash, they code read as “CA143 motor failure electronic error” any ideas guys the under side of the car is caked in mud ciuldnit be just stuck or is it a big bill?
Thankyou in advance guys and merry Xmas

If caked in mud, the connectors may need cleaning
