Thanks for the tips.

I called a vehicle electrician in the end, and Landrover, and they both independently said it points to the KVM.

The vehicle is now going back to the garage I bought it from a few weeks ago for a last look and I’m hoping a full refund. The race is now on to find a replacement to ship 8000 miles away...but that’s another story!
