Hi All, having problems with my D3 windows.
Sometimes they work fine, other times they don't work at all, and to add to the mix sometimes they will work on their individual switches, sometimes not at all.
To add to the mix, sometimes the indicator repeater, on the drivers side will come on and the windows won't work, when it goes out they will work, and at the moment with it on they don't work, but when it goes out the front passenger one works, and a noise comes from the drivers one momentarily at each press or pull of the switch but the window don't move.
Have prised the switch out and it looked fine, and taken the door card off, all seemed OK.
Any help or advice greatly appreciatet

Is your battery "ok"
Lots of spurious stuff seems to manifest itself in some way if the battery volts are compromised.
Just go into a Kwik-Fit they'll give you a free test - maybe Halfrauds do to
You need to know battery voltage at rest & the voltage engine running.
All can be checked without door cards off.
D3's do run a lot out of the battery...
The C-Tek charger route to keeping things good really worth looking at.

Hi, I did get my original problem solved, it turned out that water had got into the plug the connects the drivers door loom to the main car loom, and had burnt out/shorted a few of the connections.
I had to get the door loom replaced.
Had no further issues since having it done.
Suspension fault could be down to a leak or a worn pump.

Sorted my problem. It was a broken earth wire between door connector and the earth splice inside the door card.
