Electric Mirror Fault

If anyone can assist always appreciated. My 05 HSE has a weird problem now with the electric Mirrors not working on the passenger side at all ( apart from folding okay ) with no adjustment and it seems it does it's own thing every time I drove it. Drivers side has partial adjustment but not what I want and it seems to reset itself when I get out of the car each time.
I think I know the cause but certainly stuck on a way to rectify, it goes like this;

I purchased headrest system and fitted to the car ( look good and will post info later as eBay £200 set looks the part) but after fitting the headrests left the seats in the house in prep for fitting the following morning. Got ready in morning and upon examining seats found my 8month old lab had chewed the main harness under the drivers seat so I trimmed everything back and soldered the ones that seemed to fit colour code and chew pattern but I was left with 4 blue wires all the exact same with no idea which ones they connect to and that's where I am now. Seats back in and adjustment of seats etc fine but could this be it and if so anyone know what to do here as I have m/f bullets to try combinations but not wanting to do any damage.
Cheers and yes the dog is still with us.

Well the fault is far from weird considering the dog chewing on the loom that controls the seat and mirror memory!

Can you post some photos of the loom in its current state and the 'forum collective' can then compare to the way it should be?

as a temporary fix just to stop it resetting each time you drive it , check that the the "lazy Entry" is off on "i" button on the indicator stalk.

Good tip from Davro & in case you have not done this before:

1. With the ignition 'on' (engine doesn't have to be running) press the 'i' button on the indicator stalk until 'SETTINGS' is shown on the display
2. Use the 'skip' buttons on the steering wheel until 'Reverse Mirror Dip' is shown
3. Use the 'volume' buttons to select 'off'
4. Press the 'i' button on indicator stalk

sorry for delay. i have some images of the problem area. the wires ( 4 ) are black with blue trace and come from the white connector rather than the main seat plug with the bolt to remove. in looking at the white plug the wires seem to be on the left hand side of the pins but not exactly sure which ones. The seat memory seems to be working okay with full movement of the seat just seems to have affected mirrors. I put bullets on then just to protect the wires but reluctant to start connecting to the other wires as they are all the same and not wanting to blow anything.
