EGRs again, types and models?

Hi, I have managed to have the wrong EGR valves sent out for my 2008 Disco 3, 2.7 TDV6. Can anybody provide any info on the different types of EGR Valve and what years they changed? The type I have been sent have a smaller aperture where the flange connects to the cooler? Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Carl

GSTUART this does help thanks but I will have to have a closer look as I think I have a EU3 Cooler on a VIN that should be I think EU4 being a 2008?? I'm changing the engine for a genuine Landrover remanufactured unit and I feel the crappy engine that failed, may be one of the poorly remanufactured examples from some of the heroes discussed on this forum! There was no landrover plate stamp on the rear right of the bell-housing on the original engine; that would explain the EU3 instead of the EU4 cooler setup I think. It's all coming clear now but I will need to do some more research tonight. Thanks for your input, you might well have solved it so I can at least order the correctly fitting ones.

I totally hear you and would heed your advice Mikey Bow down , but I need to get the engine running and the old EGRs are shot and there is nobody this far north I can think of to do the blanking from the software perspective.
