EGR pipe/valve
Had the dreaded Restricted Performance warning come up a few times over the last few days. Also can hear a definite whooshing/breathing sound on acceleration from near-side front.
Plugged in my Autel code reader and got the error message P1247-00 Turbocharger boost pressure low.
I know its not the inlet manifolds as had both replaced in August. Took it to the garage and he sprayed soapy water over the near side engine bay and suggested it is the EGR pipe that has broken or the EGR valve that needs replacing.
Booked in tomorrow for the garage to investigate and fix Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector

Had something similar on mine. Also had fumes in the cab on idle, mine was the Offside EGR to exhaust manifold pipe, I went in through the wheel arch and done it on the drive, tight but manageable!

The garage have now been able to diagnose the fault - it is the cross over exhaust pipe. Unfortunately this means the gear box has to come off to fix Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector

Just found the same problem on wifes Discovery 4 (LR part number LR020548), this is the one on the offside/drivers side if your car is a RHD UK spec, big hole in this pipe between EGR valve and turbo, fault came up as restricted performance low boost pressure at turbo.
Hope this helpsLand Rovers, they give you the freedom to explore.

Thx for this but although this may be the a Fix it may not be THE FIX as the hole is on a strengthened area the arch which is in strength but from a serious misfire from Turbo this could also happen again so it is important to know the turbo is also in tact
