| EGR Fault help and advice needed |

Hoping someone could help me here!
I picked up my disco 3 late 07 the start of June, the last couple of days I have noticed it being sluggish when cold and no power till over 2000rpm also slight smoking having a read it seems to be a failed EGR.
The engine management light is also on.
Now the garage I got it from refuses to rectify this claiming that it falls under fair wear and tear?
Could anyone help with my options?
I have read a little about blanking the valves

Hi as yours is a MY2007 it will need a software patch as well as blanking the egr's off. I would have thought you have a warranty on the car as its not been owned for long.

Thought so not sure of where to go to get the patch and cost wise.
The dealer is claiming 3 months warranty which expired 3 days ago!
