EGR Fault - going back to dealers - advice please!

Hi all, thanks to all you boys and girls on here, my problem with the engine management light has been confirmed as EGR valve fault. I took the car to my friendly workshop and he plugged it in and I took a picure of the diagnostic screen and asked him not to clear the fault. The two codes quoted are; P1335-21 and P0405-21.
The engine management light has now gone out (for a week) and I am due to take the car into the stealers tomorrow as a post warranty claim (a fault had been identified by the workshop prior to the warranty expiring whch I pointed out to the LR dealer who said no fault could be found).
I just know that the dealers are going to try to wriggle out of it and need advice on what to say to them please?

A lot of EGR faults will not actually put the EML on believe it or not, a screen shot of them working (or not) can be taken using stealers diagnostics, so dont worry if your EML aint on, easy to spot if they aint working as your accelleration will be bad from standstill. post warranty will be available to you at variable degrees depending on age, mileage, servicing etc, good luck

Not wanting to worry you to much, but after having both EGR valves fitted under an extended warranty (D3 was 3.5 years old with 40000 on the clock) I then needed a turbo fitting because all the Censored exhaust that gets pumped back through the turbo had clogged the variable vanes. Thanks must go to Bell Autos in York that pointed it out, I then took it to Armstrong Massey and they pushed it through the warranty company, which took some doing,(thanks guys) so just be warned and best of luck.
