What is it with the EGR?
If there's a problem ..it's the EGR
If there's not a problem ...it's the EGR
Is this just a hark back to flat earth mentality ?

Bornidle, its the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve, sometimes can be problematic but quite reliable if the D3 is maintained correctly. Seems that if a D3 has a fault, everybody blames them....

Don't get me started on EGR's
Sorted on my D3 now thanks to the open discussions on here, which led to a donation
Had problems with my van for a year and a half (only 2 years old) and there mentioning EGR is the cause

I noticed Friday the annual pilgramage had started, loads of caravans parked on our industrial est, and you have that site near you too. They wont stay near our factory long, every truck that leaves from 2am onwards blows the air horns, they soon move through lack of sleep
