Hello everyone.
Got myself to Bell Auto services on Friday, had my sticking EGR valves blanked off and a nice new silicone hose all fitted within 1 hour by Pete.
Must say what a really nice guy he is and very professional, even if all his water was frozen and i had to wait 40 minutes for a coffee!!
I noticed an imediate improvement after blanking, car now drives better and has no hesitation on application of throttle.

If you don't mind me asking, what year is your D3.
I have EGR problem (FC PO405-21 - Low Signal ???) on my TDV6 2007 and I understood these couldn't be 'blanked off'... if thats now changed I would like to know how much it costs etc.

mine is 06 reg, and the main problem was in the morning it just would not rev, it would only tickj over.
Pete at Bell auto charged me £100.00 to supply & fit the blanking plates.
he does just supply but for me it was easier to pop over to his unit and have him fit them.

I think it all changed on my year with EGR  - I think I will drop a Pete a line and see if he's managed to come up with a solution.
