Who installed your DVD
It is misssing and has always been missing but the sound did work. This is why I am so confused. To get it to work I was told they pushed a pen inner ito the socket and it worked. pulled it out and it still worked moved it around and pulled it out it stopped working. Faulty plug with pin missing I was told.

If you mean the low power mode on the stereo it will always come on if you push the radio up beyond 20,
