I was bidding on the tow bar and seat covers. Rats. I should have posted here first...
Anyone know how easy it would be to fit the tow bar? Time / cost / DIY possible? Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue

Hi Kevin
the tow bar is really easy to fit should take you about half an hour, I took mine off my discovery 3 and then fitted it onto my RRS.
basically you feed the wiring loom through the bumper to the NSR bumper corner and then remove the NSR light cluster and feed the loom through a preinstalled grommet behind the light cluster, then just connect it to the connectors that are preinstalled behind the NSR cubby hole. job done
I also have the D3 towbar storage unit if you want to make me a bid if any off you win
if you need them i have the full installation instructions

I get a little sneaky feeling there is a little more effection for the D3 guys than maybe for the RRS apart from possibly Biggles

its quite heavy also so collection or passing it on at one of the off roading days may be an idea.

Poor Neil. He's lost his D3.
I bought his rubber mats off him the day I got my car (and the day before he was px-ing his HSE for the RRS).
Seemed a decent guy. You have to feel sorry for him now though, with only a RRS for company... Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue

I'd like it too, if I win. I didn't think the towbar storage unit is a big deal. What'd it cost new?
If I win, it seems like I'll have to fight for this!
