and it looks very impressive.
Suspension can be altered from -30mm up to +70mm in addition to the normal adjustments.
This isn't a sales pitch, just looking for any experience to help me.
Cheers,
Simon
you might upset the cynicalists on here lol
ps I I think there is nothing wrong with having extra adjustment, providing everything is in GWOiiD Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool

I believe you can do all that with an IID which has the extra functionality... I think.
But you don’t get the knob to adjust, so you have to plug the tool in I think.
Again, you might be able to reconfigure the different suspension heights and use the in car buttons, so normal is say +1 inch etc, but again you would need someone more experienced with the IID to confirm.
The air suspension is great for its adaptability. For example, you could drive to Morocco through France Spain with the vehicle in normal mode, the adjust the suspension to be off road + 1 inch say, have all the self levelling functions still working, then overland through Morocco then set back to normal for the journey home. I can’t imagine it’s nice driving a disco in off-road + height on the road, especially at speed. I guess high speed braking is more the issue!
Also remember the air suspension can get you out of trouble if you ground the vehicle out, so having the ability to adjust it off-road is a massive benefit.

Looks brilliant on paper lol what about 10 years time when its function is nothing but trouble? I bought my D3 for life not just for xmas. Comparing it with my Camel Trophy 110 on 2" lift my D3 is a dream to drive high speed braking?? I dont exceed 70mph so no high speed braking and it stops shorter as it does not dip much at all unlike when it was on air you loose braking inertia through suspension droop.
Whats the point we can debate all day. Read expedition forums especially Aus and USA see how common a conversion it is out there.
The only thing I will miss about air is the ability to drop the car for car parks that's about it come have a drive see for yourself.iiD Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool

Wasn't it the Italians who ripped off the original LLAMs design developed years ago.
