I was in Skye at this time last year and it was rain, mist and low clouds most of the time.

The trip looks awesome! My wife and I visited the Isles of Mull and Iona this past August and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Your photos bring back fond memories...
We only had a rental Vauxhall, though!
The Scottish coast is an amazing place!

Next weekend we head to Scotland for three weeks. Spey, Brora, Altnahara, Corin and Shieldbridge are our camping locations with tin tent. We are currently at Kinlochewe, in the caravan. It's absolutely stunning around here. Yesterday we drove over Belach na Ba to Applecross, and we were rendered speechless by the scenery. I have a time lapse taken from my Blackvue that I will post when I get decent internet.
