Duratrac Speed Rating Q vs S

Looking for a bit of info on the differences in these tyres if any other than the reduced speed rating to Q (99mph)

Read on a few posts that they are the same tyre but have just been downrated, is this true?

I require 2 new 255/55/19 and can't seem to find any 111S rated ones anywhere in stock, are the S rated tyres still made or are the Q rated ones the superseded version?

My insurer covered me on the D4 on the basis that I wouldn't be doing more than 99mph Whistle

I was told by Goodyear they had to rate them as Q due to the EU tyre ratings. They are classed as a POR and the highest speed rating that a POR can be is Q.

I got a set last year and my insurance had no issue with them.

This might be a stupid question but why would i need to tell my insurance?

I don't think I've ever gone over 100mph in my d3 so i'm not overly concerned about the lower speed rating, however if they are the same tyre just de-rated then surely they would still be good for the original S rating speeds anyway?

I was also looking at the Avon AX7, but as i only really need two new Duratracs then it would be more cost affective to buy two than to buy 4 avons.
