The PC1700 is way to big but I don't know about the next one down. The battery Geoff suggest seems pretty good with a no nonsense 5 year guarantee.

I've got a PC1500. It's tight but it does fit, although I've had to remould the compartment cover with a heat gun.

Great battery. Also Devon 4x4 have one fitted to their D3. I have pictures of it installed if you PM me an email address.

Length and width are fine, its just a tad tall with the cover on. I've blown the plastic cover with a heat gun just enough to fit over the terminals.

I too like Oddessey, but its personal preference.

Mac, looks like your yellow top is only connected to the charging circuit? What do you use it for?

Biskit, yes cover still fits but you need to use low profile terminals ad in MAC's picture.
