I've got a strange problem with my D3. When parked the front drops but never the back. Gone from end to end checking for leaks but can't find anything. Air springs are fine. I've changed the front crossover valve which is often the cause. No change at all. Not showing faults under diagnostic. Stays up when set at off road height. Anyone else had a similar issue? 2011 D4 HSE, it'll be nice if it ever works!

Front valve block easy to do at home and seals are 15 quid on eBay or a new valve is around 130

Remove 20a fuse from under bonnet and see what happens over night.

Did you replace the valve or just the seals I replaced seals on middle one and front leaks so I'll just buy a new one

Quite similar on my LR3, repaired the block, new seal, use some silicon to restore the seal rubber seat, restore the springs, but still found a bit more than 1cm drop at front over a week, of cause with fuse off.

1cm a week isn't anything to worry about

don't know if 1cm is enough for it to self level (when parked)

I have now tried everything I can think of without success. The behaviour has changed slightly. It either stays up as it should quite normally or it drops right down at the front in around 45 minutes. Always comes straight back up when started. The yellow suspension light comes on after twenty minutes or so but goes out again on restart and seems to stay off. Could this actually be a compressor fault? The Disco drives quite happily with the light on with no apparent ill effect. Certainly does my head in though. The most irritating fault in the , nearly, 300000 I've done in the old girl.
I'm reluctant to take it to the local stealers as they are a change all the bits until the fault clears kind of outfit. Any ideas? 2011 D4 HSE, it'll be nice if it ever works!

All pointing to the front block again really.

If your valve block is new, then check out the fault code coming from your 20 mins or so driving, if the fault code is related with " usual pressure fluctuation during driving ", it is a faulty valve block! But I really doubt it..
If not, air springs need to be changed, they are pretty cheap right now, and yours 300K usage means even the air bag is still ok, the damper must be pretty bad at what it should do. My opinion, I would change the front pair of air springs no matter what.

The air springs are fine. I suspect that a leak would result in sagging on the affected side. It's not doing that the drop being exactly equal.
I checked the fault codes which show today as:
C1A36 Exhaust valve general electrical failure (intermittent)
C1A18 Pressure increasing too rapidly when charging reservoir(intermittent)
C1A30 Air spring supply. Algorithm based fault (too many transitions) 2011 D4 HSE, it'll be nice if it ever works!

from those codes I would guess the control valve next to the compressor.
fit a second hand one, or open up and replace seals (£15 on ebay)
