Mine is the same, approx 1500 revs take your foot off the throttle and no drone, i'm getting a service next month, see if they can find the problem. Confused

Same here! 67km/h and I get the noise. Had it over a year now and its stayed the same. Changed diff oil and checked the front bearings, but found nothing.... Bought a bearing just in case....

Learnt to live with it until "it" (whatever "it" is) breaks totally Rolling Eyes

Noises are difficault to diagnose without being able to hear it !!! Wink

I had a similar issue (albeit between 60 - 65mph and no noise either side). When I got back I jacked up each wheel in turn and gave it a good shake. No movement in any until I got to NSF and found very noticible "wobbling" replace bearing - job done.

It might not be your problem but might be worth it just for piece of mind?

I think this is just a resonance of the car exhaust, many have it (5th gear 1700 revs 70kph)
There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

Exactly the same here, on very light throttle, mainly when cold, had it in the workshop twice for this and was never found, hope someone can find some answers, it's driving me nuts.

I get the droning at 1500 rpm at part throttle too, always been there.

I estimate the frequency to be close to 75Hz which tallies with a 6 pot engine ignition speed at 1500rpm, it only occurs over a very narrow band so I'm with DD here and reckon it's a resonance in the exhaust system and nothing to worry about.
