DRLs turn on with unlock

I seem to recall someone did a DRL or other lighting mod which lit up when car was woken up by being unlocked.

As I'm about to take a new +ve feed to front of car to power a new horn, I figured I could follow whatever was done in that thread, thus getting that feature at same time ... but I'm damned if I can find it.

Anyone remember it ?

This will turn stuff on when the engine is running (not when woken up but might be able to mod that). They made it for DRL, and can dim with the indicators (L/R) and when headlights are on they dim too.

Good price and might do what you want with style/less hassle?

cheers ... I think it was that one, but 4 pages in and it looks like it's not the solution I thought. 7 more pages to go though, so I might get there in the end.

Failing that, I will try and find a fuse in the main fuse-box that goes live on wake-up.

@rata1

I already have DRLs and wired so they are on with no sidelights AND on main beam.

all I need to do is take the feed from a "on wake up" live rather than a "ignition on" live.

Link F24 (side lights) to F49 (adaptive lights) worked on my 2010, i think some had to link both left and right sides I used fuses with a break out wire coming off one side, a switch and stuck a 5a fuse in for good measure, the switch is handy if you want to turn it off while it’s in for service etc
