DRL/Xenon & other CCF upgrades in S.Yorkshire
Hi guys. New to this forum and just purchased a D42010.
Wondering if any of you kind souls are in the vicinity of South Yorkshire and could help with a DRL/Xenon from Halogen CCF update and if it's not too much trouble a few features turn-ons too such as timed heating.
Hoping to post more in the coming months including some cool stuff I've done with my D4, hoping someone can help with this!
Cheers in advance!

Me and Robbie had a good crack at it last weekend, sorted the Headlights out (a simple enablement from 2010 Halogens to 2014+ HSE Spec DRL Xenon's if anyone is thinking about it, don't even need a re-wire), got rid of a tonne of errors, enabled timed climate, and had a stab at removing the airbag light, though it is a hard fault that needs to go to my mechanic.
The reason for my follow up post is three fold:
1) I can't thank Robbie enough for his help, the education, his advice and guidance. There are some truly helpful, selfless and kind people out there and Robbie is definitely one of them. I took him a Bottle of locally brewed Gin and showed him how to make it as recommended, so i hope he likes it.
2) To let people know it is easy to re-program from 2010 Halogens to 2014 Xenons. I struggled to confirm this and bought them on faith.
3) To ask about the timed climate functionality. Robbie enabled this for me, however he has a MY13 vehicle and so his system is different to mine. I clicked on it and set the timer to 7:30am, but then next morning when stood by it at 7:29 (without the key incase it thought i was nearby and ready to open it) it did nothing. I did notice the Manual Heat and Manual Vent buttons are greyed out, or should they be anyways? Help anyone? p.s. yes it does have the Diesel burner under the hood on the right side by the power steering reservoir incase thats question1. Cheers

Lexx, its more than likely down to voltage. If the battery isn't at 12.2 or 12.3 volts, then they don't always seem to start. Charge the battery up and then test it on the timer.Bodsys Brake Bible

Hi, brand new to the forum but it has been so helpful already I had to register. I have seen a lot of threads concerning Xenon upgrade and ccf editing but I just wanted to ask, is it better value to but a tool or should you let a professional edit the file. If so, is there anyone who does it in the North west?
Nearest sponsor is Flack (Mick he's in Preston), failing that I get around quite a bit and need to pick up some bits in Bury when I get home (on Hols at the mo), try Mick if not give me a shout
