Drivers Side Door Handle
Went to the car last night to find the drivers door handle felt loose and it took a good pull to get it to open the door. First time this has happened.
This morning, could not open the door at all and had to climb in another door and pop the door from the inside. Pulling the door handle, it felt loose and nothing was happening.
Please tell me this is a common fault easily fixed?
At the moment I'm fixing the boot lock, looking at a new battery and needing to sort the central locking. Last thing I need to tell SWMBO is there is another issue as that will be the end and it will be sold.

The door handle is connected by a cable to the lock mechanism. It should not be loose so I would think the cable has come unlatched or has broken. Only way to tell is to remove the door lock. Many links on here
